Data Deletion Instructions

SmartCommerce respects your privacy and provides users with the ability to request deletion of their personal data associated with our services and Facebook integration.

Requesting Data Deletion

If you would like SmartCommerce to delete your personal data, you may submit a deletion request using one of the following methods:

Method 1: Delete Through Your SmartCommerce Account

If you have a SmartCommerce account:

  1. Log in to your SmartCommerce account.

  2. Navigate to Account Settings.

  3. Select Delete Account or Request Data Deletion.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Once completed, your account and associated personal information will be scheduled for deletion.

Method 2: Remove SmartCommerce from Facebook

You may also remove SmartCommerce’s access to your Facebook account:

  1. Log in to Facebook.

  2. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings.

  3. Select Apps and Websites.

  4. Locate SmartCommerce.

  5. Click Remove.

Removing the application disconnects SmartCommerce from your Facebook account. If you would also like all stored data deleted from our systems, please submit a deletion request as described below.

Method 3: Contact Us

You may request deletion of your data by contacting us directly.

Please send your request to:

Include the following information:

  • Your name

  • Email address associated with your account

  • Facebook User ID (if applicable)

  • A statement requesting deletion of your data

What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon verification of your request, SmartCommerce will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, including:

  • Account information

  • Facebook-connected data obtained through authorized permissions

  • Profile information stored by SmartCommerce

  • Customer and user-related data where legally permissible

Certain information may be retained when required by law, regulatory obligations, fraud prevention requirements, security purposes, or legitimate business recordkeeping requirements.

Processing Time

We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.

If additional verification is required, processing may take longer.

Confirmation

After your deletion request has been completed, we may send a confirmation email to the address associated with your account.
